New Pokemon Scarlet & Violet trailer showcases Fidough, other stuff

But it's mostly about how adorable Fidough is.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet was shown off in a new trailer released earlier today.

The trailer showcased new functionality including the Terastal Phenomenon, one only found within the Paldea region. Essentially, the effect will change the type of your Pokemon alongside a shiny new look. Said Pokemon will become more powerful as a result of the transformation, which can only be performed once per battle.

New Pokemon including Fidough (Puppy; pictured above), Cetitan (Terra Whale) and Paldean Wooper (Poison Fish) were also part of the new reveal.

Finally, it was confirmed that those who pre-order the title before its release on 18 November will receive an in-game Tera Flying type Pikachu.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet heads to Nintendo Switch on 18 November. Check the new trailer out below.
