New Overwatch PTR patch nerfs Mercy, Junkrat

A new Overwatch PTR patch has made changes to Mercy and Junkrat.

The patch, available on the PC Public Test Realm, focuses on Mercy and her Valkyrie ultimate. It no longer grants a bonus Resurrect charge when activated; moreover, the Resurrect ability is no longer instantaneous. Valkyrie’s duration has been reduced from 20 seconds to 15 seconds. Finally, Mercy’s Guardian Angel speed boost has been reduced by 50%.

Junkrat also sees some changes — his Concussion Mine deals less damage to players who aren’t within its explosion centre. This change has been enabled to mitigate double-charged Concussion Mines and their damage.

As per usual, all players should see the patch on live servers across Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 shortly. Overwatch is available now on all three platforms.
