New Need for Speed (Underground?) gameplay to be shown for the first time this week

Electronic Arts and Ghost Games today advised that we’ll be treated to gameplay from the next Need for Speed game this Friday.

Scheduled for 21 May in North America, we’re taking the safe bet that’ll correspond to a slightly random hour on 22 May for Aussies and the like.

We expect the reveal to be via the franchise’s YouTube channel.

Last year marked the first time since 2001 that a yearly installment of the Need for Speed franchise wasn’t delivered.

The new Need for Speed title is expected in late 2015, and many expect it to be of the Underground variety.
