New Alienware desktops, laptops detailed for Australia

New Alienware desktops and laptops were detailed overnight by Dell, and we’ve got all relevant Australian details below.

Alienware Aurora R11 desktops

Alienware’s flagship gaming desktop, the Aurora R11 desktop, now offers liquid cooling.

“It’s available on NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER graphics and will deliver up to a 19.5% temperature reduction and up to a 69.2% noise reduction,” Alienware detailed. “With this new add, gamers and pros considering the Alienware Aurora can now get liquid cooled processors AND liquid cooled graphics!”

The new desktop starts at $2,799 AUD or $3,099 NZD.

Alienware m15 and m17 laptops

Next, the m15 and m17 laptop ranges have been beefed up.

“Paired with the fastest 10th Gen Intel Core H-series mobile processors, this generation m15/m17 is unlocked for overclocking on the i9-10980HK processors and features amazing responsiveness, consistent performance and visually stunning display options for smoother gameplay,” Alienware detailed.

“The m15/m17 chills gamer’s biggest opponent – heat – with its new Alienware Cryo-tech cooling design. Its first-to-market HyperEfficient Voltage Regulation technology helps keep power levels high to push performance for the long haul. The m17 gamer also gets maximum graphics performance with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Max-P graphics.”

The m15 range starts at $3,199 AUD or $3,499 NZD and the m17 range at $3,599 AUD or $3,899 NZD.

Alienware Area 51-m laptops

Finally, the Area 51-m has been upgraded to include new 10th Gen Intel Core S-series processors and for the first time on an Alienware laptop, features 10 cores, 20 threads and up to 5.3GHz with Thermal Velocity Boost.

“Our new Alienware Cryo-Tech cooling technology increases airflow and boosts performance. This innovative design includes a new honeycomb air-intake panel above the keyboard, larger fan blades and feet for better elevation,” Alienware continued.

“For the first time, we are also introducing vapor chamber cooling and up to 12-phase HyperEfficient Voltage Regulation on select configurations to help maintain power levels for uninterrupted, marathon gaming sessions. And for gamers looking for an alternative in their GPU selection, Area-51m now offers AMD Radeon RX graphic options.upgradeable and overclockable processors and graphics cards for gamers who want the best on the go experience.”

The Area 51-m starts at $3,999 AUD with New Zealand pricing to be confirmed.
