Netflix tax: GST on digital goods won’t be collected until 1 July 2017

The Federal Budget’s come and gone, and with it, news on the new ‘Netflix tax’ that’s set to charge an additional 10% GST on online digital purchases.

It’s bittersweet news today, as it’s come to light that the new tax won’t go into effect until 1 July 2017.

You can head to ABC’s Winners and Losers website for more information on the Budget itself.
