NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition available now on Apple Arcade

And VC is nowhere to be found.

NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition is the latest version of the popular basketball game, available on iOS, Mac and Apple TV via Apple Arcade.

NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition offers a one-of-a-kind basketball experience, built with a graphics engine that delivers impressive gameplay resolution across Apple devices, while also boasting significantly improved visuals, AI, and animations,” 2K said of the title.

The Arcade version of the title will offer up quick matches, quick street matches, online multiplayer and the NBA 2K mainstay, MyCareer. In keeping with Apple Arcade’s subscription-based format, 2K21 Arcade Edition will not feature VC, the microtransaction-laden in-game currency used across other platforms.

“Feel more immersed in the game with tight controls, slick camera angles, and realistic player attributes across ball-handling, speed, shooting, and defence, all while experiencing even more control with an Xbox or PS DualShock controller that can be used with any Apple device,” 2K added.

NBA 2K21 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, Switch, Stadia and now on iOS, Mac and Apple TV via Apple Arcade.
