NBA2K15 extends its MyPark mode

2K have revealed details on their new and improved MyPark mode for NBA2K15, adding a bunch of new features and fixing a lot of the issues fans had with the mode last year.

The big change is affiliations, where you choose to side with one of three groups that specialise in different playstyles. That feeds in to the MyPark Championship, a weekly tournament running through February pitting these groups against each other.

Matchmaking, team building, communicating with teammates and even checking the score in a pickup game have been streamlined, while a feature they are calling attribute upgrades hopes to ensure games won’t be filled with top rated, godlike custom players. The trailer is embedded below, finishing with an ominous challenge to players.

MyPark is shaping up as more than just a diversion this year, and Australian players will be able to get their hands on it in NBA2K15, out 9 October for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
