MultiVersus open beta coming July, new fighters announced

Say hello to Velma, Iron Giant and the Tasmanian Devil.

MultiVersus open beta was today announced for July 2022 alongside news of new fighters.

Joining the Warner Bros’ fighters roster are Looney Tunes’ Tasmanian Devil, The Iron Giant‘s titular Iron Giant and Scooby-Doo‘s Velma. You can see those new characters in action below, sorta, thanks to a new cinematic trailer.

Before the open beta takes place, a closed alpha comes first; it runs between 19-27 May for approved users.

Alongside news of the beta comes the title’s finalised key art; you can check that out above.

Launching as a free-to-play title, MultiVersus heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 sometime in 2022.
