MultiVersus Halloween 2022 event brings Stripe, candy

Time to get evil?

The MultiVersus Haloween 2022 event is on now, bringing Gremlins‘ Stripe alongside the Monster Mash in-game event.

Monster Mash allows “players to participate in matches and earn ‘candy’ in exchange for rewards, including the Jake the Dog Cake character variant, Reindog Mummy character variant, Pumpkin Patch profile icon and Jack-o-Lanterns sticker emote,” Warner Bros and Player First Games advised.

The event is part of a larger update that includes new purchaseable cosmetic items including Black Lantern character variants for Superman and Wonder Woman alongside Halloween-themed items for Shaggy, Iron Giant and more.

MultiVersus will further celebrate Halloween with special screenings of Scooby-Doo episodes over on Twitch. Those who watch for 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes will earn various rewards.

You can take a look at Stripe in action below.

MultiVersus is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5. We previewed it here and have criticised its microtransations right here.
