MSI has announced that it will extend product warranties by two additional months in the face of the coronavirus, COVID-19.

“The coronavirus (COVID – 19) pandemic has taken the world by surprise with its infectiousness. Due to this outbreak, life has been disrupted in many parts of the world, and fresh cases and tragic deaths are being reported with every passing day,” MSI said in a press release.

“MSI remains committed to our mission of putting our customers first. In light of the health concerns surrounding coronavirus across the globe, we want to ensure that our valued customers don’t have to worry about anything other than their health and safety. To this end, we’re offering a complimentary 2-month warranty extension on a wide array of MSI products if you meet a few qualifying conditions.”

The offer is open to customers in South Korea, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, Spain, USA, Switzerland, Singapore, UK, Hong Kong, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Australia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Malaysia, Belgium, Canada. You must be enrolled in the MSI Rewards Program and have an MSI desktop PC, motherboard, AIO computer, PC cabinet or monitor with a warranty that would normally expire within March 2020.

China is not part of the offer as “our customers in China/PRC are already part of an independent warranty extension program,” MSI added.
