Motes of Light will let you go above level 20 in Destiny

Normal Guardians in Destiny? They’ll hit the game’s level cap of 20. Superior Guardians, though? Well, they’ll continue to rise thanks to Motes of Light.

Bungie confirmed that said Motes of Light will be used to level your character up beyond that soft cap.

By finding Motes of Light and then trading them into the Tower’s Speaker, you’ll be able to tackle bigger and badder missions, enemies and more.

Destiny will be available in early September on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.
