New Line Cinemas today confirmed the filming location, also announcing that visual effects and post-production work will be handled in the same city.

The Mortal Kombat reboot film is being produced by James Wan (Aquaman, Saw). Pre-production will kick off later in May, with filming to take place before the end of the year.
