Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath has no new Achievements

Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath has no new Achievements or Trophies, players were discouraged to discover upon the DLC’s release early yesterday.

“I am surprised [NetherRealm] didn’t add achievements,” J eVeRy DaY 514 said of the situation over on TrueAchievments. “I think it’s crazy what they’re charging for the standalone DLC. It completely screws over the people who bought the game on release. I wasn’t one of those people so I can justify spending $60 for the full game with all DLC.”

“If they didn’t come out at launch, then they won’t at all,” Redditor phillipbjackson wrote in reply to another user who asked if Achievements or Trophies would come later. “Most expansions have new trophies, I’m just as bummed as you are that Aftermath had none.”

Aftermath has paid and free components, with the former adding new characters like RoboCop and the story-based section and the latter adding new Friendships. If you’re not keen on spending big to play through a 5 hour story without Achievements or Trophies, MK Ice and Fire has uploaded all story-based cinematics below. Enjoy.

Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
