Mobius Final Fantasy is a “console quality” game coming to iOS, Android

Square Enix today announced  Mobius Final Fantasy, a game it describes as “the first ever console quality Final Fantasy game specifically designed for mobile devices.”

Developed by a team including Producer Yoshinori Kitase and Writer Kazushige Nojima – both known for their work on Final Fantasy VII and its upcoming remake — Mobius tells the story of a man with amnesia who may or may not be the world of Palamecia’s legendary warrior of light.

Available on iOS and Android from 3 August, Australian and New Zealand players can apply for pre-registration here. Those that pre-register will receive Final Fantasy X-themed items like Tidus’ Brotherhood sword, a Yuna character card and more.
