Miitomo: 1 million users already and a $80 USD microtransaction

Miitomo‘s Twitter account has confirmed that Nintendo’s first mobile application has already been downloaded by 1 million users.

Currently available in Japan, those outside the country have been able to download the app on iOS and Android by swapping stores and jumping through some extra hoops.

The news comes as those with the app have confirmed Miitomo contains an $80 USD microtransaction.

¥8,800 works out to roughly $79.38 USD.

We’ll let you know when Miitomo is officially available in Australia.
