Midnight Suns release date set for 7 October; special editions detailed

Strap yourselves in.

The (revised) Midnight Suns release date has been set for 7 October 2022, 2K and Firaxis today announced, also detailing a number of special editions that will be available.

“When the demonic Lilith and her fearsome horde unite with the evil armies of Hydra, it’s time to unleash Marvel’s dark side,” 2K said about the game in a press release.

“As The Hunter, your mission is to lead an unlikely team of seasoned Super Heroes and dangerous supernatural warriors to victory. Can legends such as Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and Blade put aside their differences in the face of a growing apocalyptic threat? If you’re going to save the world, you’ll have to forge alliances and lead the team into battle as the legendary Midnight Suns – Earth’s last line of defense against the underworld.”

Moreover, the game will come in four different editions, as follows:

  • Standard Edition: Complete with the base game ($99.95 AUD / $109.95 NZD)
  • Enhanced Edition: With 5 premium cosmetic skins ($109.95 AUD / $119.95 NZD)
  • Digital+ Edition: With 11 premium cosmetic skins ($124.95 AUD / $134.95 NZD)
  • Legendary Edition: 23 premium cosmetic skins and a post-launch Season Pass ($149.95 AUD / $159.95 NZD)
