Midnight Suns delayed later into 2022

Another one hit by COVID complications, likely...

Marvel’s Midnight Suns has been delayed later into 2022, developer Firaxis has today confirmed.

“We decided to share that we’ve made the very tough decision to move our launch window to the second half of 2022,” a statement from Firaxis’ Jake Solomon and Garth DeAngelis reads.

“We know many fans were looking forward to playing the game originally next spring, and this decision did not come lightly. We decided to push our launch because we need more time to make this the best game possible. We believe in our creative vision… and want to do justice in delivering an unforgettable adventure set in the supernatural side of Marvel.”

The post thanks fans for their understanding and for their reaction to the card-based tactical strategy title.

Originally scheduled for a March 2022 release, we can now expect Marvel’s Midnight Suns in the latter half of 2022 on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch. We previewed the title here.
