Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an Xbox Play Anywhere title

Warner Bros. used today’s Middle-earth: Shadow of War reveal to confirm that the sequel will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title across Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.

This means players can enjoy cross-buy, cross-save and shared Achievements on the Windows 10 PC and Xbox One versions of the game.

In addition, Warner Bros. also confirmed the game will support Xbox’s Project Scorpio, due this holiday season, alongside the already released PS4 Pro. Enhancement details were not given.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War heads to Windows PC (Windows 10 and Steam), Xbox One and PS4 in August.
