Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is the latest Xbox exclusive to head to PS5

And with PS VR2 support later in 2026.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is the latest Xbox exclusive title to make its way to PS5, and will do so on 8 December. PlayStation VR2 support will follow in 2026.

“We are incredibly proud to bring this amazing experience to PlayStation for the first time when the game launches this December 8 on PS5 and PS5 Pro,” Microsoft’s Jorg Neumann wrote on the PlayStation Blog. “Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is the world’s most advanced consumer flight simulator offering an unprecedented level of realism and authenticity.”

Those with PlayStation VR2 headsets will also be able to play in VR mode in 2026.

“PS VR2 owners will be able to experience the entire game through their headset and Sense controllers with a free update that will be available in 2026,” Neumann wrote. We’ll let you know when a concrete release date is set.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is already available on Windows PC via Microsoft Store and Steam alongside Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Cloud Gaming on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate; it heads to PS5 on 8 December. You can also access the title via Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
