Metroid Prime 4 heading to Switch in 2018, says Nintendo

The recently announced Metroid Prime 4 will head to Nintendo Switch in 2018, the publisher confirmed at E3.

“We’ve announced a nice lineup through this year, and next year we have some big games coming with Metroid 4,” Nintendo’s Charlie Scibetta told GamesBeat.

“2018 will be around Metroid, Kirby, Yoshi, and a new Pokémon game has been announced,” he continued, leading many to believe Nintendo’s new game would release in the same year. Nintendo has since clarified with GamesBeat that Scibetta meant “2018 and beyond.”

Not much is known about Metroid Prime 4 or that Pokémon Switch title, but it looks like we won’t have to wait that long for one of them.
