Metal Gear Solid 1 & 2 now available on PC via GOG.com

Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2 are now available on PC via GOG.com, Konami and the retailer have confirmed.

The two Metal Gear Solid titles are joined by the original 1987 Metal Gear, with each title priced as follows:

Users seem impressed with the PC ports so far, with some noting that the games have had to be tweaked to work on PC somewhat; the infamous boss battle with Psycho Mantis in Metal Gear Solid has had to be fiddled with because we don’t have PlayStation memory cards to read from, as an example.

Nonetheless, Metal Gear fans are certainly very happy today.
