Melbourne’s Zero Latency team takes virtual reality zombie shooting to Japan

The Australian Financial Review today reports that Melbourne’s Zero Latency is set to open a similar virtual reality (VR) zombie experience in Tokyo.

Zero Latency’s tech will power VR headsets in a permanent warehouse-sized VR centre in Tokyo through a partnership with Sega Live Creation.

Sega will use Zero Latency’s own games in the endeavour.

“There’s a growing interest in virtual reality as a platform, and if you take it to the next level like we have and allow people to have really natural interactions, the opportunities are even broader than what you can get with even a home VR setup,” said Zero Latency’s Tim Ruse.
