Melbourne’s Bartronica to host Satoru Iwata tribute event tomorrow

Melbourne gaming bar Bartronica advised it will be hosting a Satoru Iwata tribute event tomorrow.

Iwata, Nintendo’s President and CEO, passed away last weekend at age 55.

“With the sad passing of Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata this week at the young age of 55, we’ve decided to pay tribute by setting up all of our console areas with Nintendos,” the bar declared in a statement.

The Iwata tribute night takes place tomorrow, Thursday, 16 July betwween 4pm and 1am. Bartronica is located at 335 Flinders Lane in the Melbourne CBD. Interested parties can RSVP here.
