Max Payne remake in full production, Control 2 features in “playable form”

Get ready for more Remedy.

The Max Payne 1 & 2 remake has entered full production, while specific Control 2 features are in “playable form,” Remedy has detailed in its latest financials report.

Max Payne 1 & 2 remake progressed from production readiness to the full production stage,” Remedy said as part of the update. “The development team has been working towards developing the game to an early functional state from beginning to end.”

Control 2 is in production readiness stage, Remedy added.

“The development team reached an important milestone in delivering a build of the game showcasing several important features in playable form,” Remedy said of Control 2. “This has supported the ongoing business negotiations. The development team is working towards scaling up the production of the project.”

Remedy also confirmed that Project Condor, its only current multiplayer, live service title — one tied to Control — is also in full production.

We’ll have more on Remedy’s upcoming titles — including the second of Alan Wake 2‘s planned DLCs — as more information is made available.
