Master of Orion (finally) heads to a retail release this month

Wargaming today announced that Master of Orion will leave Early Access for a full release on Steam and GOG later in August.

You can expect the full version of the game from 25 August.

“The journey for Master of Orion’s reboot has been an amazing one, and now we’ve approached our destination,” said Jacob Beucler of Wargaming. “Along for the ride was the Master of Orion community, sharing their thoughts and guiding us toward an amazing Master of Orion experience for the new age!”

The game went into Early Access back in February, but Beucler himself told Stevivor that Wargaming was in no hurry to rush a full release.

You can grab the game here on Steam or here on GOG. We did an early review in progress on it here.
