Marvel Powers United VR announced, exclusive to Oculus Rift

Kingdom Hearts III wasn’t the only thing detailed at Disney’s D23 event over the weekend — the company also announced Marvel Powers United VR.

The Oculus Rift exclusive will put players into the shoes of their favourite Marvel characters, including Rocket Raccoon, Hulk, Captain Marvel and more. It’s unclear if players will get to play as the Inhumans’ dog, Lockjaw.

The first-person title will also feature four-person co-op play, where the heroes will fight against Marvel’s villains.

A release date for the title wasn’t detailed.

We’ll have more on Marvel Powers United VR as it becomes available; a new character reveal has been promised for the San Diego Comic Con.

Marvel Powers United VR is an Oculus Rift exclusive.
