Marvel Midnight Suns free-to-try ahead of new DLC drop

Say hello to Venom.

Marvel Midnight Suns will offer a free-to-try period across PC and consoles ahead of its second major DLC drop next week.

First, the trial is available across PC, Xbox and PlayStation, but with some caveats.

On PC, players will be able to try an all-access weekend via Steam from 17-20 February here in Australia. On Xbox Series consoles, you’ll get a three-hour game trial, and over on PS5, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also benefit from three hours of free play.

Any progress in the trials will carry over into the main game if you decide to purchase. The title is 40% off on all major platforms at present.

Following that, the new Redemption DLC will be available from 23 February. Focusing on Venom, the DLC “includes three new story missions that continue off of the first DLC, which introduced the threat of vampyres on New York City,” 2K and Firaxis advised. “Players will want to build Venom’s unique Research project Whisper Web, which expands the tactical options for the Intel resource.”

Marvel Midnight Suns is available on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5. We reviewed it here.
