Mark Hamill’s Joker to debut in MultiVersus

What a laugh.

Mark Hamill will reprise his role as The Joker when MultiVersus re-launches at the end of this month.

“He’s been waiting in the shadows for far too long. The Joker is officially joining the MultiVersus cast,” reads a description on a new video, shown below. The description is likely in reference to the fact that dataminers discovered Hamill’s voicelines back before the mascot fighter was removed from digital storefronts.

MultiVersus will mark the first time since 2018’s LEGO DC Super Villains that Batman The Animated Series voice actors Hamill and the late Kevin Conroy reprised their roles as The Joker and Batman, respectively. Conroy starred as Batman in the beleaguered Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, but Hamill did not… despite Joker being added to that too.

Update: A second Joker trailer has been released by Player First Games and Warner Bros. You can check it out below.

MultiVersus heads (back) to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5 on 28 May. We previewed the open beta here and have criticised its microtransations right here.
