Mario Tennis Aces pre-launch tournament takes place early June

Mario Tennis Aces pre-launch tournament has been confirmed by Nintendo.

A Japanese trailer details the event, to take place over 1-3 June on Nintendo Switch.

The news was accompanied by a new gameplay video, embedded below, with thanks to Wario64.

The tournament is essentially a demo, providing players access to the game before its actual release date later in the month. The tournament was promised to players back in March.

Mario Tennis Aces is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, heading to the handheld-home console hybrid on 22 June. It will offer tennis fans the chance at local and online multiplayer.
