Mario in a Wedding dress is a thing thanks to Super Mario Odyssey

Mario in a wedding dress is just one costume offered up inside Super Mario Odyssey.

A recent unboxing by YouTube channel FamilyGamerTV confirms that the Wedding Peach amiibo unlocks the dress for Mario himself. Skip to the 6:30 mark if that’s all you’re after.

Earrings and all, eh? You go, Mario.

For those of you wanting to achieve this fierce looking without the expense of the Wedding Peach amiibo, take heart — Nintendo has confirmed that all amiibo content can be unlocked without the figurines. Just how that content can be unlocked remains a mystery.

Super Mario Odyssey heads to Nintendo Switch on 27 October.
