Maneater Truth Quest DLC coming later this year

Dust off those fins...

Maneater Truth Quest DLC will head to Windows PC, Xbox and PlayStation later this year, developer Tripwire Interactive has declared.

“Starring the titular and evolved bull shark protagonist – and Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live, Rick and Morty, Archer), reprising his role as investigative journalist Trip Westhaven, Maneater: Truth Quest will take players down the rabbit hole of dark secrets and conspiracies surrounding Port Clovis and the Naval Wildlife Organization (NWO),” Tripwire said in a press release.

“The original stories of animals growing bone like armor, emitting flesh-eating toxins, or using electricity as a weapon were simply just old fisherman’s tales. That is until conspiracy theorists everywhere pointed to the original Maneater as solid proof of a Government coverup. Trip Westhaven, driven the brink of madness, fires up his ViewTube channel ‘Truth Quest’, to take his followers, the ‘Questers’ into deep waters in an effort to uncover the dark secrets behind this whale of a tale.”

The content will increase the game’s level cap to 40, include 5 new organ evolutions and increase your shark’s maximum size. It also introduces a new Apex Predator, newly evolved hunt creatrues and adds military land forces to its Bounty Hunter system.

Maneater Truth Quest DLC is expected in mid-2021 on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5 (the game is also available on Switch) and will be priced at $14.99 USD.
