Magic the Gathering’s Open House will give away free cards next weekend

Next weekend’s Magic Open House means 140,000 free Magic the Gathering cards for Australian and New Zealand players, Wizards of the Coast recently confirmed.

Taking place on 15 April, the Open House will provide free cards from more than 100 stores across both Australia and New Zealand. More than 5,400 worldwide stores are taking part, offering up more than 3.5 million total cards.

In an effort to promote the game to newcomers, anyone who attends an Open House will receive a Welcome Deck and a premium foil full-art basic land.
