Live-action Knuckles TV show rounds out its cast

Idris Elba gets some friends.

The live-action Knuckles TV show has rounded out its cast, Paramount has recently declared.

Joining Idris Elba as Knuckles are Adam Pally as Wade Whipple and Tika Sumpter as Maddie alongside recurring cast members Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), Julian Barratt (Mindhorn), Scott Mescudi (Don’t Look Up), Ellie Taylor (Ted Lasso) and guest star Rory McCann (Game of Thrones).

The Knuckles TV show will be set between the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 feature films, and is currently in production.

Knuckles is being worked on by many of the same names attached to the Sonic films, including Jeff Fowler, Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, John Whittington and Tory Nakahara.

Knuckles is expected to premiere on Paramount+ in late 2024.
