LG details new G2, C2 OLED TVs

Need a new screen?

LG has detailed its 2022 range of G2 and C2 OLED TVs at CES.

“Featuring the advanced LG OLED panel, the new G2 series models are set to be the next step in OLED evolution,” the company said in a press release.

‘The OLED evo technology featured in both G2 and select C2 series delivers enhanced brightness for realistic images with clarity and detail. Powered by the new LG α (Alpha) 9 Gen 5 intelligent processor, the company’s Brightness Booster technology enables G2 series TVs to deliver more brightness through improved heat dissipation and an advanced algorithm.”

The G2 series will be available in 55, 66, 77, 83 and 97 inch options, while the C2 will offer up models at 42, 48, 55, 65, 77 and 83 inches.

The new 2022 models will offer up new features like NFC Magic Tap, which will “mirror a mobile device screen to an LG TV”. One LG TV will be able to mirror content to a second LG TV over wifi without the need for an additional set-top box. Finally, “Always Ready turns an LG TV into a media display when not in use.”

We’ll have more on the 2022 range of LG OLED TVs when available.
