LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will explain C-3P0’s red arm

Speaking with Game Informer, TT’s Mike Taylor and Jamie Eden have said that the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will fill in some of the gaps untouched by the popular film.

TT Games has been allowed to “create some additional content,” according to Taylor, including “some levels that take place before the events of The Force Awakens.”

Taylor continued to say that the game also has “bridge content” missions, unlocked by gold LEGO bricks. Those missions will explain how C-3P0 got his red arm, how Han Solo and Chewbacca captured the vicious rathtars and more.

“We tell the story through the sort of LEGO viewpoint as well, so the crux of the story is what happens is true to the IP,” Eden, Game Director, added. “Obviously we put gags in with characters holding sausages or riding around on pigs, et cetera.”

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be available in Australia from 29 June on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita and Windows PC.
