Latest Overwatch beta patch adds new map, resets Career Profile

Blizzard today advised that a patch to the Overwatch beta will reset Career Profiles.

That’s not a huge deal, as player levels, progression and rewards will remain intact. The wipe does mean that players will lose personal best details.

The update also adds a new map, Control, alongside new rewards, Hero balance changes and general fixes.

Overwatch is in closed beta, but an open beta is scheduled for 5-9 May.
