The L Word Generation Q heading to Stan in December

The L Word Generation Q heads to Stan in December here in Australia, the streaming service today confirmed.

The returning series, a sequel of sorts to The L Word (2004-2009), will focus on “intermingled lives of Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals), Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey) and Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig).” It will also add new characters into the mix including Dani Nùñez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas) and Gigi (Sepideh Moafi).

This new series is expected to run eight episodes, and will also guest star Brian Michael, Stephanie Allyne, Olivia Thirlby, Fortune Feimster and Latarsha Rose.

Expect The L Word: Generation Q from 9 December on Stan. The original series is available now on Stan.
