Konami wants to sell you horse armour in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

First it was FOB insurance. Then, pachinko machines. Now, Konami is gearing up to sell you horse armour inside Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Konami is offering $0.99 USD transactions for its recently-released title, including Western Tack horse armour for D-Horse.

The outfit is described as a “Non-tactical loadout for D-Horse. Perfect for imaginary travels through the Old West”. D-Horse can also be tricked out with Parade Tack horse armour (above), described as an outfit “for ceremonies, parades, and other formal occasions, real or imagined.”

Are you okay with these microtransactions, or has Konami gone too far?
