Konami pulls out of E3 2021

"We have great respect for the ESA," the publisher says.

Konami has pulled out of E3 2021, saying it “will not be ready to present” at this year’s digital showcase.

“Due to timing we will not be ready to present at E3 this year,” the company said in a tweet.

“We want to reassure our fans that we are in deep development of a number of key projects, so please stay tuned for some updates in the coming months,” the statement continued. “While we are not participating this year, we have great respect for the ESA and know that 2021 will be a great success. We continue to support the ESA and wish the best to all participants at this year’s show.”

We’ll let you know when Konami makes further announcements.

E3 2021 will run over 12-15 June 2021 (or 13-16 June 2021 here within Australia).
