Kojima: I’m “100% involved” with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Hideo Kojima has said he’s “100% involved” Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, despite reports he’s parted ways with Konami.

“I want to reassure fans that I am 100% involved and will continue working on Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain,” Kojima said via statement.

“I’m determined to make it the greatest game I’ve directed to date. Don’t miss it.”

Just like Konami’s earlier statement, Kojima doesn’t really address his role within the publisher.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is on track for its 1 September release.
