Knockout City flings its last dodgeball in June

Season 9 will be the title's last.

Knockout City will be shut down in June, developer Velan Studios has today announced.

“Today we are announcing that Season 9 will be Knockout City‘s final season,” Velan’s Jeremy Russo said via blog post.

“Then, on the morning of June 6, 2023, over two years after our initial launch, all servers around the world will be shut down and the game will no longer be playable.”

Velan will take learnings from Knockout City and apply them to “other games and product we are very excited about”, according to Russo.

Knockout City was first published by EA back in May 2021. Velan Studios took full ownership of the title a year later in June 2022. We previewed it here.
