The Kirby Air Riders release date has been set for 20 November on Switch 2, Nintendo confirmed as part of a special livestream last night.

Kirby Air Riders is a wild action experience across land, sea and air that puts you in control of frenetic Kirby fun,” Nintendo said in a press release this morning.

“Enhancing and expanding upon Kirby Air Ride, originally released for Nintendo GameCube in Europe in 2004, this new game will now give players a roster of riders to choose from, each with their own distinct characteristics and abilities,” Nintendo continued. “In addition, there are new Air Ride machines, returning game modes, and new Special moves.”

Nintendo also confirmed that seven tracks from the Kirby Air Riders soundtrack are now available inside the Nintendo Music app. To access the app, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

Kirby Air Riders heads to Switch 2 on 20 November.
