Kena Scars of Kosmora is a sequel to Kena Bridge of Spirits, coming in 2026

Get ready.

Kena Scars of Kosmora is a sequel to Kena Bridge of Spirits, planned for a 2026 release on PC and PS5.

“Kena has grown into a more experienced spirit guide,” its developers said as part of today’s PlayStation State of Play. The devs also promised, “deeper, more dynamic combat, a larger, richer world”.

You can get a taste of what to expect below.

“Kena, now an accomplished Spirit Guide, travels to the mysterious island of Kosmora seeking a cure for her affliction and to reconnect with a friend from her past,” reads a description attached to the above trailer.

“There, she is confronted by a powerful corruption that fractures her staff. Needing it to survive, Kena must accept Kosmora’s forgotten and dangerous form of Spirit Guiding that manipulates the elements. On her journey, Kena discovers and nurtures memorable spirit companions – whose powers she will harness to solve puzzles and defeat enemies using new elemental abilities.”

“On Kosmora, Kena is confronted by a powerful spirit that fractures her staff. A spirit guide’s staff is their identity – their tool to help and commune with spirits,” Ember Lab said over on the PlayStation Blog. “Kena’s staff was also keeping her alive. To survive, Kena must accept Kosmora’s forgotten form of Spirit Guiding which uses Alchemy to manipulate the power of the elements.”

Kena Scars of Kosmora heads to PC and PS5 sometime in 2026.
