Johnny Cage confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11

Johnny Cage has been confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11 and is sure to please long-standing fans of the franchise.

Everything about the character seems to have been carefully consider (and is very on-brand). Cage’s Mortal Kombat 11 fatality will show the character taking three punches to decapitate an opponent, a nod to a glitch in Mortal Kombat 2 that saw him throwing three uppercuts and, somehow, decapitating a for three times over as well. Better still, Cage will bust out an action figure of himself after a win. What’s not to love?

The character will of course come with his standard arsenal of moves, including shadow kicks, shadow selves and green fireballs. You can check some of that out in action below.

Mortal Kombat 11 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch on 23 April.
