Jem’Hadar playable in Star Trek Online Victory is Life expansion

The Jem’Hadar will be playable in Star Trek Online‘s Victory is Life expansion, developer Cryptic recently advised.

“One of the exciting features of our upcoming expansion, Victory is Life, is the addition of an all-new faction for players, The Dominion. Home to the most impressive military might in the Gamma Quadrant, The Dominion was featured prominently on-screen in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and we’re excited to finally give players the opportunity to be a part of this mighty force,” Jette Leavens wrote.

“Their fearsome warriors, the Jem’Hadar, will be available for players to create and jump right into the current storyline with the release of Victory is Life.”

After creating a new Jem’Hadar character and completing the in-game tutorial, your character will then be asked to align with the Federation and Starfleet or the Klingon Defense Force.

The Jem’Hadar possess the Shroud trait, which provides stealth and increased damage. The trait is activated by ingesting Ketracel White. Moreover, special Jem’Hadar, called “Odo’s Vanguard,” will be available for purchase in Star Trek: Online‘s C-Store.

Star Trek: Online is available on Windows PC, Mac, Xbox One and PS4. The DS9-centric Victory is Life expansion heads to PC and Mac in June, and a later date on consoles.
