Iwata: That Legend of Zelda Netflix show never was a thing

Bad news today for Nintendo fans, with company President Satoru Iwata quashing rumours of a Legend of Zelda television show on Netflix.

“As of now, I have nothing new to share with you in regard to the use of our IPs for any TV shows or films, but I can at least confirm that the article in question is not based on correct information,” Iwata said to Time magazine, directly-yet-indirectly addressing the rumour.

D’oh!

At least Australia gets Netflix as of today.
