It’ll cost you more than $15 AUD to finish Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour

You'll need all the peripherals, and a 4K TV.

While we’ve already griped about Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour coming with a $15 AUD price tag rather than being a pack-in game, it turns out a full completion of the title will cost you a lot more.

As each bit of Welcome Tour is sectioned off according to the Switch 2 and its peripherals, true completion of the title means you’ll need to have a Switch 2 Camera, a Switch 2 Pro Controller, and access to a 4K TV. Or, as Nintendo puts it, “additional accessories required”.

You’ll need to connect and use those peripherals to get associated stamps — see our opening gameplay from Welcome Tour below for more on that — to be able to continue on.

A Switch 2 Camera costs $69.95 AUD, while a Switch 2 Pro Controller will set you back $119.95 AUD. If you don’t have one, a 4K TV is substantially more expensive.

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is out now alongside the Switch 2 itself. We reviewed the digital manual here.
