InKonbini demo available between 1-8 May

Coinciding with LudaNarraCon.

A special InKonbini demo will be available to try on Windows PC via Stream between 1-8 May, developer Nagai Industries has confirmed.

Available for the duration of LudaNarraCon, the demo “offers a first look at the game’s cozy atmosphere, unique art direction, and narrative-driven gameplay, blending emotional storytelling with the everyday quirks of retail life,” according to a press release.

“This special Prologue Demo is the very first time players will be able to experience InKonbini for themselves,” says studio founder and game director Dima Shen. “Anticipation is high, and we’re just as excited to see how players around the world respond. We believe in the unique qualities of the experience we’re presenting in this demo, but releasing it into the world is still a thrilling moment for our team.”

“In this special preview, players step into the shoes of Makoto Hayakawa, a newcomer spending their first night behind the counter at the Honki-Ponki convenience store. The demo introduces one of the store’s colorful regulars and offers a taste of the game’s relaxing, satisfying mechanics — a gentle introduction to a larger story shaped by meaningful moments, personal connections, and the rhythms of everyday life,” Nagai Industries added.

You can access the demo here from 1 May 2025.

InKonbini is expected in the later in 2025 on Windows PC, Mac, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5. We’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
