Immortals of Aveum swaps guns for magic

Mages, suit up.

Immortals of Aveum was properly detailed by Ascendant Studios and EA ahead of the title’s 20 July release date.

The title is a first-person shooter that uses magic rather than conventional weaponry.

Immortals of Aveum is set in an original fantasy universe engulfed in magic, rife with conflict, and on the edge of the abyss,” reads a press release.

“Players experience this visceral and cinematic, story-driven game through the eyes of Jak, as he joins an elite order of battlemages, masters all three colors of magic – blue, green, and red – and decimates legions of enemies with clever chained attacks and well-timed counters. Combining a modern story within a fantasy setting, the world of Aveum is filled with unforgettable characters, fast-paced action and spell-based combat that defies FPS conventions.”

A reveal trailer is below.

Expect Immortals of Aveum on Windows PC via Steam, EA App and the Epic Games Store alongside Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5 from 20 July.
