Immortals Fenyx Rising is the new name of Gods & Monsters

Immortals Fenyx Rising is the new name of Gods & Monsters, Ubisoft recently confirmed. Moreover, the title will be shown off at next week’s Ubisoft Forward livestream.

GODS AND MONSTERS is no more,” Ubisoft said in a tweet. “Introducing IMMORTALS FENYX RISING.”

Alongside the news came the confirmation the Ubisoft Forward event will take place from 5.00 am on 11 September here in Australia.

Gods & Monsters was first announced back at E3 2019, a project that now embraces its lead character of Fenyx.

Fenyx was initially described as “a forgotten hero on a quest to restore power to the Greek gods after it was stolen by Typhon, the deadliest creature in Greek mythology.”

“Players will explore the Isle of the Blessed and prove their heroism as they face dangerous mythological creatures, including fearsome Gorgons and Harpies and mighty Cyclopes. Gifted with special powers from the gods of Olympus, players must overcome treacherous dungeons, challenging trials and perform heroic feats on their journey to save the gods.”
